Top 10 most shoplifted items in the US

Top 10 shoplifted items in the US (Truly First world theft)
1. Filet mignon
2. Jameson Whiskey
3. Electric tools — electric toothbrushes + power tools
4. iPhone 4
5. Gillette Mach 4 Razors
6. Axe Deodorant (Dial is popular too)
7. Polo Ralph Lauren Clothes (Up 31%  since ‘09)
8. Let’s Rock Elmo
9. Chanel No. 5
10. Nikes

This is really a sad list, not one item is a basic necessity, every item is a luxury item (well except for Elmo). Also one in ELEVEN Americans shoplift…One in Eleven. And it’s not kids, it’s adults. Stop it!

P.S. Also why ARE razors so expensive?

I thought the Bible was the most shoplifted item. How do you shoplift an iPhone 4, and at least they’ve got the right...

  6. clusterpod said: You can’t really blame people for succumbing to the insidious, pervasive and ubiquitous marketing for these kinds of items. We are surrounded by advertising telling us we want them. Who can afford all the stuff we are told we should have?
