I like this shot, but I’m reblogging it as I lived in Danville, CA in 1969-78. There were about 2,000 people in Danville back then, and more black angus than people.It was a terrific place to be a kid, lots of freedom, as long as you were home by dark.
This shot feels like it’s from WPA dustbowl era of the 30s rather than the hip 70s Danville that I know and love. But lovely lighting, and great cheekbones, and the screen pattern gives a nice effect.
Also, how much does this look like Christian Bale?
